Description
This poster explores two complementary perspectives on optimizing limited resources through computational techniques. First, we present methods for reducing the dynamic range of Quadratic Unconstrained Binary Optimization (QUBO) problems to enhance the performance of current quantum annealers—making better use of quantum hardware as a resource. Second, we address a classical optimization task: minimizing the number of light sources required to adequately illuminate a given space. This dual perspective highlights the versatility of optimization strategies, whether the goal is to adapt to the constraints of quantum devices or to efficiently allocate physical resources in practical scenarios.
